Jim BottsJim fought a valiant battle against Leukemia in 2011 and 2012, demonstrating for so many the pressing need for increased funding for research in prevention and treatment of Leukemia. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is a voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. The LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services.

Jim was a proud 1969 graduate of Elder High School. Following his death, the James Botts Scholarship Fund was initiated by several of his friends and business associates as a way to provide deserving young men an opportunity for an outstanding education at one of Greater Cincinnati’s premier private high schools.

We genuinely appreciate your partnership and participation in the Jimbo Scramble. All donations and contributions will benefit the James Botts Memorial Scholarship Fund and the LLS via the Greater Cincinnati Foundation. Thank you for helping us transform a tragic loss into a positive life changing opportunity for deserving young men, as well as providing funds for research necessary to cure this deadly disease.
